Come Ti Chiami?

Our apartment became Little Italy this last Monday when we had Italian Night for FHE!

Gabe and I surprised Phil with new identities when he got home from work (at the candy factory).  He wasn't too thrilled with his new name, Pino, but we both thought that Giovanni was a great fit our little Gabe.

We learned a couple Italian phrases, played a game, and had some pasta for dinner.  We were planning on watching Roman Holiday for the final event, but Phil, exhausted from getting up at 4:00 AM to go to work, fell asleep on the couch and became un-wakable.  We'll watch it another time.

Gabe is a month old this week!  So, below are an update and some pictures to remember his double chin, baby acne, blue eyes, receding hairline, growing body, and simply adorable face!
He must be going through a growth spurt lately because he sleeps ALL day and most of the night!  His favorite places to sleep: in his swing, on our bed, and wedged in the crack of the couch.
We can tell that he's getting older because, instead of crying only for needs (food, sleep, messy diapers), he now cries out of boredom.
Still the noisiest baby I've ever heard, he grunts, squeals, coughs, hiccups, cries, hums, snorts, etc...
Gabe's favorite things:
1. Taking baths
2. The lamp
3. His binkie
4. The picture frame in our living room
5.Milk
6. Sissel
